Disznókö - Aszú 6 Puttonyos Kapi 2011 Tokaj, Hungary
Extremely rare single-vineyard wine only three vintages were ever made: 2011, 2005 & 1999. Kapi is a single vineyard plot situated in the upper of the southern slopes of Disznókő. A unique terroir with volcanic clay soil. Pale and brilliant in color, this wine is very delicate and elegant. It’s very aromatic with crispy aromas of fresh pear, lemon and lime zest, honey, and freshpicked flowers. It’s fasci- nating to see such delicate aromas and tastes shine through the overwhelming volume and body of the wine. (J.M.)

Jacques Tissot 2018 Trousseau Arbois
The nose is fruity, racy and offers a certain concentration, a stretched side as well as a fine solar side. It reveals notes of small wild red berries, wild strawberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of cassis, small wild plum as well as fine hints of mulberry leaf and a very discreet hint of pepper. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, freshness, a good definition, race, volume as well as a beautiful sexy / bright side of the fruit. Beautiful mouth supported by a nice structure. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of small juicy/pulpy wild red berries, wild raspberry and small notes of wild blackberry associated with touches of toasted almond, toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of chocolate, liquorice and toasted hazelnut. The nose is fresh and offers a small concentration, a fine grain and a discreet pepperiness. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, fresh wild blackberry and small notes of fleshy strawberry associated with a touch of pepper as well as a discreet hint of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, gourmande and offers a good definition, minerality, a nice freshness, an acidulous frame as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, concentrated black berries and a small notes of fresh raspberry associated with touches of fresh/pulpy plum as well as hints of dark chocolate/tonka bean and a subtle hint of pepper/tobacco. It is a new project made by the american Curt Frasca. In the winery, a talented enologist, Matteo Gerbi, is running all the production. The name of the estate comes from the locality La Guaragna. The eleven hectares are dedicated to the native Piedmont grapes. The purpose on this wine is to get the best finest as possible, in this first vintage there is the pureness of juice, great delightfulness and precision. The texture coding perfectly the grapes, leading the taste in the contemporary world. In the backdrop, there is an iodized horizon. (E.M.)

The nose is fresh, crunchy and offers a certain explosive side / richness. It reveals notes of crunchy green apple, fresh / crunchy vine peach and small notes of fresh lemon associated with a touch of fresh lychee, mesocarp and fine hints of quince. The palate is fruity and offers a juicy/acidulous frame, a good definition and a certain gourmandize. Finesse and creaminess in the effervescence. On the palate, this Crémant expresses notes of crunchy green apple and pulpy/fresh peach associated with small touches of lychee, lemon as well as a subtle hint of fresh small yellow fruits (in the background), a very discreet hint of almond and an imperceptible hint of fresh raspberry.
