On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackberry, small black berries and small notes of violet associated with touches of bright black plum, crunchy strawberry as well as slight hints of zan, sweet blond tobacco, cardamom, a subtle hint of tonka bean, toasted almond and an impercepti­ble saline hint (in the background). Tannins are precise, elegant and suave.
