The palate is fruity and offers unctuosity, gourmandiz­e, juiciness, a nice silky feel, roundness as well as freshness. A very nice silky and juicy touch (bright fruits). On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / bright blackberry, juicy blueberry and more slightly plum associated with touches of raspberry, bright currants, lily / cornflower­s as well as hints of cocoa, racy minerality, to a subtle almost saline hint of pepper and an impercepti­ble almost cedar hint in the background. Nice bitterness on the finish. Tannins are precise and relatively suave.
