On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, violet and more slightly of fairly ripe small red fruits associated with touches of tobacco, undergrowth, toast, toasted hazelnut as well as fine hints of truffle and with a subtle (and delicate) hint of vanilla.
