The palate is fruity, balanced and offers elegance, freshness, gourmandize, a tangy frame, minerality, a little creaminess, finesse in its richness as well as a little airy side in its richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fairly ripe wild strawberries, wild blackberries and more slightly juicy / pulpy small blue fruits associated with touches of fairly small ripe red fruits as well as hints of chocolate and toasted almonds, tobacco, nutmeg, with a hint of graphite, salinity and a subtle hint of almost gravy. Tannins are elegant and finely mellow. Good length. Sapidity and very discreetly saline. Presence of an imperceptible hint of good bitterness (cocoa) on the finish. A nice success! A nice ripe wine which offers a certain richness while retaining its freshness and its acidity (without neglecting a certain gourmandize).
