The nose is fruity, discreetly tight and offers a certain elegance, silkiness and fine grain. It reveals notes of Boysenberr­y and bright little blue plum associated with hints of vanilla, blueberry as well as a hint of strawberry, fine hints of pepper and a subtle hint almost colas. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, minerality, a tangy frame, a tight grain, a little airy side in its power as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy blackberry, pulpy / juicy cassis and more slightly of wild raspberry associated with small touches of blue plum, hints of blueberry, sweet blond tobacco as well as fine hints of vanilla, toasted almond, nutmeg and a discreet hint of chocolate. Tannins are precise and discreetly powdery. Good length.

The nose is fresh, aromatic and offers delicacy as well as a nice definition. There are notes of fairly ripe blackberry, cassis and slightly truffle associated with touches of ripe / fresh small red fruits, cherries as well as fine hints of cloves, Madagascar pepper, lilac. and subtle hints of undergrowt­h. The palate is fruity, elegant, nicely racy and offers minerality, a small tangy frame, tension / a stretched side, smoothness, delicacy as well as a nice freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy / fresh blackberry, fairly ripe cassis and more slightly violet associated with touches of zan, fine hints of undergrowt­h, lilac, almond as well as a discreet hint of clove, cardamom and truffle. Tannins are precise, elegant and well-rounded. Good length. Presence of a fine hint of chocolate at the base / persistenc­e.

Saint-emilion Grand Cru, Grand Cru Classé (Organic) The nose is fruity and offers elegance as well as a fine power/richness. It reveals notes of dried cassis, dried raspberry and more slightly of fresh fig associated with touch of meat juice / sanguine orange as well as hints of camphor, spices and a very discreet hint of undergrowt­h. The palate is very delicate, balanced and offers velvety finish, a nice airy side, freshness, minerality as well as a nice fine and discreetly tight texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of Boysenberr­y, dried strawberry and more slightly fig associated with touches of crushed small red fruits, hints of undergrowt­h, gravy, saffron as well as a discreet hint of toasted almond and a subtle hint of graphite. Tannins are precise and finely marked. Good length. Hints of chocolate, sapidity and a fine chew on the finish. Score : 17/20 (94/100)

Château Pavie Decesse 2011

The nose is aromatic and offers power, a nice fine texture, depth and intensity. It reveals notes of small wild red currants, green pepper and more slightly sweet spices associated with touches of cassis, cherry as well as hints of nutmeg, cardamom, with fine hints of sub -wood and a very discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a pretty gourmandiz­e, suavity, a tangy frame, tension as well as richness in balance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / tangy raspberry, dried strawberry and more slightly cassis associated with touches of cocoa, toasted, cardamom as well as hints of coffee, mocha and a subtle hint of undergrowt­h. Tannins are precise, smooth, tight and elegant. The finish is very discreetly tight. Good length. A wine offering power in delicacy as well as gourmandiz­e.

The nose is fruity, fresh and offers a racy minerality as well as a fine and racy texture. It reveals notes of wild cassis, fairly ripe raspberry and more lightly blond tobacco, spices associated with a hint of meat juice, racy minerality and a very discreet hint of almond. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, good definition, gourmandiz­e, nice juicy / pulpy fruit, freshness, nice racy minerality as well as some controlled power. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy cassis, raspberry and more slightly of fairly ripe blackberry associated with touches of tobacco, chocolate, toasted almond as well as a subtle hint of undergrowt­h and an impercepti­ble hint of roasted herbs / fresh cashews. Tannins are well developed. Score : 16.25/20 (92-93/100)

Tannins are precise, elegant, structurin­g and racy. Nice sapidity and presence of a very discreet almost saline hint in the background / persistenc­e.
