The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a mineral / tangy frame, a good definition, a certain gourmandiz­e, a little tension as well as a certain finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cassis, crushed blackberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of strawberry, small fresh fruits, hints of racy minerality, liquorice, chocolate as well as a subtle hint of camphor and crushed hazelnut. Tannins are finely suave. Good length. Presence of a small chewiness on the end of the mouth /persistenc­e.

The nose is fruity and offers a certain finesse as well as a fine and very discreetly tight grain. Great potential if decanted. Presence of a nice and delicate chew and a little salinity on the finish (which stretches the finish).
