The palate offers bright juiciness, elevated acidity, a certain creaminess and roundness. The palate mirrors the nose with nuances of yellow orchard fruits but complicate­d by nuances of dried herbs, gentian and camomile. An intense bitter note on the finish adds to the freshness.

The nose is slightly reductive and smoky initially, later opening up with notes of white apples, lemons, a touch of dried Mediterran­ean herbs, very pronounced minerality. The palate is fresh and juicy, pleasantly round and creamy, with balanced acidity and intense warming sensation on the back-palate. The wine demonstrat­es nuances of yellow pears, a hint of pineapple, a touch of garrigue and pronounced saline notes. The typical bitterness on the finish is well-balanced and gives a nice kick to the overall complexity.

The nose is exuberantl­y rich and opulent, revealing nuances of ripe pineapples, mango, a touch of lychee and a hint of ripe gooseberry in the echo, complicate­d by notes of cinnamon and a touch of ginger. On the palate the oak becomes more evident, showing through the notes of cloves, nutmeg and cedar wood and a particular bitter touch. The wine is juicy and luscious with a good balance between the opulence of the texture and acidity supported by the bitterness. It lingers long and leaves a succulent, saline and woody aftertaste.
