The palate is fruity, racy, very tightly wound and offers freshness, minerality, an acidic frame and a certain richness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, pulpy/juicy black berries and, more slightly, of blackcurra­nt, tart raspberry as well as fine hints of liquorice stick, toastiness and a subtle touch of vanilla. The tannins are racy and very finely firm.
