The palate is fruity, balanced and offers juiciness, a mineral structure, good definition, gourmandise, accuracy, some tension as well as minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright redcurrant and small notes of juicy/fresh blue plum associated with a pretty racy minerality as well as delicate floral hints (even varietal) and a discreet hint of chocolate. The tannins are elegant, precise and coating.

The nose is fresh, racy, and liquoricey and offers a nice well-mastered intensity, concentration and depth. We find notes of liquorice, flowers (lily, iris, lilac), and small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of morello cherry, fine hints of mocha as well as a discreet hint of the local grove, salinity, and fine hints of toast. The palate is fruity, a bit aerial, and offers juiciness, minerality, energy, a nice tangy structure, delicacy in its concentration, as well as a certain density. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, morello cherry, and slight hints of cornflower/iris associated with touches of small crushed red berries, hints of chocolate, toast as well as a subtle hint of coffee and toasted hazelnut The tannins are supple.
