The nose is fresh and a bit aerial. It reveals notes of boysenberry, crushed purple plum and small notes of violet associated with touches of liquorice, gray pepper, and fine hints of bright berries. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, minerality, a tangy frame, good definition, gormandise, suavity, tension, and energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy purple plum, bright blackcurrant, and small notes of cornflower associated with touches of cardamom as well as fine hints of toast, nutmeg as well as a subtle almost vanilla hint in the background. The tannins are relatively marked on the finish. A discreet hint of chocolate on the finish/persistence.

The nose is fruity and offers a certain purity of fruit as well as good definition. It reveals notes of bright blackcurrant, bright blackberry and small notes of bright purple plum associated with hints of gray pepper, lily as well as a subtle hint of tobacco and tonka bean. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandise, nice fatness as well as tension in the mouth. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of violet, bright/fresh blackcurrant, juicy/bright blackberry and small notes of plum associated with touches of fresh blond tobacco, nutmeg as well as a discreet hint of clove, liquorice and a subtle hint of almost toast. The tannins are racy. Good length.

The nose is relatively aromatic and offers a slight intensity. It reveals notes of fairly ripe purple plum, and violet and small notes of dried blackberry associated with slight touches of dried strawberry as well as slight hints of tobacco, cloves, sweet spices, and a very discreet hint of almost fig in the background. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, minerality, a tangy frame as well as energy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, a quite ripe plum, and small notes of cooked strawberry associated with touches of racy minerality, fresh/tangy small red fruits as well as slight hints of cloves, tobacco, and spices. A discreet powdery side in the finish/persistence.

The nose is fresh, racy and offers some concentration as well as a fine, racy, powerful and finely grained character. There are hints of ripe wild blackcurrant, grey pepper and slightly of Bigarreau cherry combined with hints of violet, pepper, blackberry as well as fine hints of blond tobacco and a subtle spice note. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, a juicy/acidic structure, good definition and freshness. On the palate, juicy/sour black cherry, juicy/sour purple plum and light blueberry notes are combined with hints of roasted red berries, tart blackcurrant and hints of star anise and sweet blond tobacco. Sapid and gourmet on the finish/ persistence. A fine touch of positive bitterness in the background.

The wine needs to be decanted. The nose is racy and offers a fine spiciness as well as power in finesse. There are notes of roasted cherry, violet and, to a lesser extent, bright boysenberry, combined with hints of jammy redcurrant, violet, star anise, grey pepper and a very discreet hint of sap (in the background). The palate is fruity and offers suavity, gourmandise, unctuousness, energy, a nice roundness as well as a fine acidic frame. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of cherry, roasted blackberry and, more slightly, blueberry, combined with touches of red berries, hints of star anise, sap and nutmeg, as well as a very discreet hint of sweet blond tobacco and a subtle hint of the sense of place (biotop)/local grove. A lovely spicy nose that offers power, intensity and a fine, powerful grain. Fresh currant, pulpy cherry and, more slightly, clove notes are combined with hints of violet as well as fine pepper, incense and a discreet hint of local varietal/bush. The palate is nicely juicy, fresh, bright, gourmet, with some tension, sweetness, acidity, roundness and some fat. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/sour cherry, tart redcurrant and, more slightly, crunchy plum notes combined with hints of clove, fresh nutmeg as well as discreet hints of violet, vanilla and fresh blond tobacco. The tannins are supple and well-managed. Good length. Nice freshness. Score : 15.25+/20 (90-91/100)

(Organic) A pretty, fresh and elegant nose that offers a certain aromatic richness as well as an intensity of gourmandise. There are notes of wild cherry, crushed redcurrant and, more slightly, violet combined with touches of crushed wild strawberry as well as discreet hints of vanilla and fine pepper. The palate is fruity, a little tight and offers juiciness, a nice freshness/minerality, sapidity, an acidic frame, a certain tension as well as a good work on the bitter taste. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cherry, redcurrant and, more slightly, iris, sense of place (local biotop) combined with hints of juicy blackberry and a subtle hint of star anise and chocolate. Good length. The tannins are supple and smooth.

The palate is nicely fruity, juicy, nicely sour and offers freshness and a fresh/acidic frame. On the palate this wine expresses tart/juicy currant, crunchy cherry and, more slightly, fresh blackberry notes combined with hints of blackcurrant as well as blueberry, lily/iris and discrete hints of liquorice. The tannins are supple and sapid. Nice acidity on the finish.
