Discover six properties from Bordeaux and from Bourgogne. More than 900 Wine & Spirits reviews from Chianti Classico Riserva & Gran Selezione, Tuscany, Douro, Beaujolais, Bourgogne, Pomerol, Rhône, Provence, Israël, New-Zealand, Whiskies…

It is with great pleasure that I invite you to discover this 2017 Spring edition of VERTDEVIN magazine. For this issue I chose to explore some European wine regions, Israël and New Zealand, and also to give a spotlight to certain Whiskies. It is the result of exhilarating trips, tastings, discoveries and meetings!

So in the first part of the magazine you will meet great winemakers from Bordeaux and Burgundy and discover a few beautiful Châteaux and Domaines. In the second part you will discover Nicolas Frion’s Wine & Food pairings, a great and promising Chef from Bordeaux. He is the Chef of the famous restaurant Le Gabriel. N. Frion created a few recipes especially for VERTDEVIN to pair with wines. These customized creations will tickle your taste buds !

In the third part you will find 900 wine tasting reports (Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Provence, Beaujolais, Rhône, Tuscany, Chianti Classico, Douro, Israël, New Zealand) and some Whiskies.

Bordeaux is one of the largest and one of the most renowned wine regions in the world. We believe its reputation not only runs through the names of some very famous châteaux and exceptional winemakers but its wealth is also seen in less famous Châteaux. This diversity is the richness of Bordeaux ! In this magazine you will find presentations of not only some Médoc Crus Bourgeois 2014, Médoc Grands Crus Classés (Margaux, Saint-Julien, Pauillac, Saint-Estèphe) but also from Graves and Pomerol.

Bourgogne red wines are world renowned. We make some of best Pinot Noir in the world in this region. So how can we resist the temptation to discover, explore and taste the incredible diversity of Bourgogne’s climates?

New Zealand… a great wine country where we can find exceptional terroir. I’m in love with some NZ wines !

Tuscany is one of the largest and best Italian wine regions that offers tremendous diversity of property and terroirs. Not only that, this Italian region offers a rather exceptional epicurean quality of lifestyle for which I’m in love. I have chosen to present some Chianti Classico Riserva and Gran Selezione wines and 30 other wines from Tuscany (Brunello di Montalcino, Rosso, Sant’Antimo, Montepulciano).

Douro wine region is growing in that it is easy to find great wine, delicious dining and offering all this at an excellent value for the money. This region has a great diversity of wines, grapes which are unfortunately often unknown. Douro wines have to gain recognition !

Whiskies... what can I say about this great Spirit. It’s one of the oldest and most famous spirits in the world. It’s possible to find a Whiskies for each time, each occasion, each taste of one’s life. To enjoy on the rocks, with a cigar, as an apperitif, in a mix, as a digestif or to pair with a whole meal (yes we can !). In this magazine you will find some great Whiskies reviews...

Enjoy the reading, savor the tastings and read with delicacy the Wine & Food pairing section.
