Single Grain Scotch Whisky (first release. finished in Oloroso Sherry Casks)

The nose is fruity and fine. It reveals notes of peat, smoke and caramel associated with discreet burned hints, grass as well as a hint of Sherry, a discreet hint of orange blossom and an imperceptible hint of salinity. The palate is fruity, relatively gourmande, fine, well-balanced and slightly fat. On the palate, this Whiskey expresses notes of candied lemon and raisins combined with discreet hints of grilled wood, Sherry as well as subtle hint of prunes, cedar wood, coffee, walnuts and a note of Cuben / gray pepper on the persistence. Beautiful persistence! The aftertaste / persistence offers suavity.
