Rosso di Montalcino DOC

The nose is juicy, fruity and finely intense/powerful. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of small berries associated with hints of wild strawberries, wood, liquorice, discreet hints of thyme, violet as well as a discreet hint of olive and slight touches of Cuben pepper. The palate is fruity, soft, fluid, mineral, well-balanced and offers a fine acidity, fat as well as a nice fresh frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed cherry, wild strawberries and slight notes of blackberry, small wild berries combined with discreet hints of zan, tobacco, dark chocolate (discreet) as well as an imperceptible hint of thyme and black olive. Good length. The finish is gourmande and persistent. On the persistence there is a discreet hint of caramelization and chocolate.
