Château Malescasse 2014
Haut-Médoc - Cru Bourgeois
The nose is aromatic and relatively concentrated. It reveals notes of lys, flowers, blackberry and black cherry associated with slight notes of cassis, red fruits as well as a discreet hint of plum, sweet spices, toasted and caramelization. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, a bit aerial, a bit silky, quite harmonious and offers as well as a small suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, black cherry and cassis associated with slight notes of raspberry, plum, licorice, toasted oak as well as a discreet hint of flowers. Tannins are fin and well-built. Good length and persistence. There are very slight notes of cacao and a discreet hint of coffee on the persistence.
