Château Cissac 2014
Haut-Médoc - Cru Bourgeois
The nose is fruity, relatively generous and offers a slight concentration.
It reveals notes of blackberry, small wild berries and more slightly of redcurrant, cassis associated with a hint of strawberry, small crunchy fruits as well as a hint of licorice, toasted and a very discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers fat, a good volume, harmony and freshness, a good definition as well as a small acid frame (in the background). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cherry, raspberry and more slightly of cassis, redcurrant associated with a hint of plum as well as slight touch of licorice, toasted oak and a hint of cardamom. Good length and beautiful persistence. There is suavity on the finish, a discreet hint of caramelization in the aftertaste and a very slight hint of iodine on the persistence.
