Le Moulin Rose de Malescasse 2014

Haut-Médoc - Cru Bourgeois

-

The nose is fruity, fleshy and quite gourmand. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, cassis and slight notes of flint associated with discreet notes of iodine minerality, hints of black cherry, a touch of flowers as well as touch of toasted and caramelized. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a beautiful minerality, a small juiciness, a good volume and fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy strawberry and more slightly of small berries associated with hints of blueberry, racy minerality, a hint of iodine, slight touch of toasted oak, sweet spices (vanilla, cardamom), a discreet hint of flowers as well as an imperceptible hint of pepper and chocolate. Tannins are fine and structuring. Good length and beautiful suave persistence.

An easy-drinking and quite gourmand wine.
