The nose is fruity, quite elegant and relatively intense/powerful. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry, wild strawberry and wild fruits associated with slight notes of spices, gray pepper (discreet), zan, hints of mocha as well as slight woody touch and a very discreet hint of caramel (needs to be decanted). The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, quite elegant, suave and offers a good volume, density, an acid frame, minerality as well as a beautiful expression/definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, wild strawberry, small red berries (redcurrant...) and slight notes of cherry, cassis associated with a hint of blueberry, slight notes of chocolate/mocha, licorice, tobacco as well as a discreet hint of black tea and a woody hint. Good length.
