Château Bégadanet 2014
Médoc - Cru Bourgeois
The nose reveals notes of grilled oak and slight notes of roasting associated with small notes of cassis, strawberry and slight notes of Sichuan pepper and a discreet flinty hint. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a mineral frame, a slighty juicy and a good definition, fat as well as a slight suavity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry, strawberry, slight notes of blackberry associated with a discreet hint of plume, oak, grilled/roasting as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization/vanilla. Tannins are fin and a bit dry (over-extraction). Good length and persistence. There is suavity on the finish.
