Château Cantenac Brown 2012
Margaux, 3ème Grand Cru Classé
The nose is elegant, slightly velvety and quite aromatic. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, fine notes of crushed strawberry, licorice, toasted oak and a discreet hint of undergrowth, Cuben pepper combined with discreet hints of spices, a discrete hint of Cardamone, a very discreet hint of cinnamon as well as a hint of nutmeg and Sichuan pepper. The mouth is fruity, mineral, racy and offers a nice volume / definition, a nice fat, a velvety matter, a fine juiciness and an acid frame (red fruits). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of black cherry / sour cherry, strawberries as well as slight notes of caramelization, chocolate (discreet), a hint of spices and a few slight hints of toasted oak on the finish. Tannins are fine, slightly young and structuring. The finish is suave. The persistence is beautifully aromatic. A beautiful wine !
