Château Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande 2014

Pauillac – 2nd Grand Cru Classé

-

The nose is elegant, fine, full and powerful (but perfectly balanced). It reveals notes of cacao, blackberry and slight notes of cassis associated with discreet hints of strawberry, cherry as well as a discreet hints of spices, pepper, tobacco and a very discreet hint of black tea. The palate is fruity, sleek, soft, elegant, mineral, relatively aerial, well-balanced and offers a beautiful structure, a beautiful finesse as well as a beautiful fullness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, raspberry and slight notes of cassis, strawberry associated with discreet woody hints, hints of chocolate as well as a discreet hint of licorice, a very slight hint of iodine and a slight notes of black tea. Good length. Beautiful potential !
