Château Meyney 2012

Saint-Estèphe

-

The nose is relatively powerful, fine and racy. It reveals notes of iodized minerality, cassis, blackberry, wood and a fine grilled note associated with slight notes of spices and a hint of violet. The mouth is fruity, gourmande, suave, soft, quite straight and offers a fine creaminess, a nice matter, minerality, a fine tension, a nice harmony as well as a fine acid frame. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed strawberry and fine notes of cassis combined with a touch of raspberry, redcurrant, fine notes of chocolate, wood, fine hints of cedar, Cigar box as well as discreet hints of sweet spices and toasted hints. Tannins are a bit firm. Good length.
