Clos de Beauregard 2014

Pomerol

-

The nose is fine and relatively aromatic. It reveals notes of blackberry and slight notes of undergrowth, truffle, cassis associated with small notes of strawberry, chocolate as well as discreet notes of flowers. The palate is fruity, fine, fluid, relatively unctuous, quite elegant and offers a fine mineral frame (mineral racy), a fine acidity and good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of wild strawberry, red berries combined with touches of chocolate, wood as well as discreet hints of liquorice, tobacco and flowers. Tannins are relatively fine as well as (very) slightly firm and young. Good length.
