The nose is fruity, relatively fine as well as relatively intense/concentrat­ed. It reveals notes of black cherry, raspberry and slight hints of cassis, redcurrant, plum associated with discreet woody touches as well as a very discreet hint of black pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, fine, soft, silky, suave, supple, precise, well-built and offers fat as well as a beautiful matter and gourmandiz­e. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of raspberry, cassis, black cherry and slight notes of redcurrant associated with hints of toasted oak, plum as well as a discreet hint of zan and vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
