Morgon

The nose is fruity. It reveals notes of blackberry and cassis associated with slight notes of wild red fruits as well as a hint of strawberry and slight touches of flowers/hawthorn. The palate is fruity, mineral, silky and offers an acid frame (red fruits), a slight tension, a beautiful fat, roundness as well as sweetness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, juicy wild strawberry, redcurrant and slight notes of Quetsche plum associated with a discreet hint of cassis, toasted oak/sweet spices as well as an imperceptible hint of liquorice. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
