Domaine Dupré - Le Griottier 2014
Morgon
The nose is relatively aromatic, fine and very slightly dusty. It reveals slight empyreumatic notes, notes of cassis and blackberry associated with slight hints of small red fruits as well as a discreet hint of violet, oak, chocolate and a very discreet hint of clove. The wine needs to be decanted. The palate is fruity, sleek, slightly smooth, well-balanced, wellstructured and offers a beautiful finesse, a slight acid frame as well as a slight juiciness of fruits. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and plum associated with slight notes of black cherry, redcurrant, wild strawberry as well as a hint of liquorice, tobacco and clove. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length.
