Douro

The nose is aromatic and quite elegant. It reveals notes of blackberry, iris and slight notes of blueberry associated with a hint of lilac, cardamom, nutmeg, mocha and toasted oak. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, nicely built, gourmand and offers a slight mineral/fresh frame as well as a good definition. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry jam, cassis and slight notes of raspberry, graphite, chocolate, small red berries and toasted oak. Tannins are fine, a bit young (wait at least 1 year) and slightly dry (small over-extraction). Good length. A beautiful wine of finesse.
