Clos Marguerite - Sauvignon Blanc 2016

Marlborough

-

The nose is fruity, elegant and gourmand. It reveals notes of clementine, flint and ripe citrus fruits (lemon, clementine) combined with hints of exotic fruits, lychee, quenette, passion fruit, vegetal (discreet) and a very discreet hint of apple. The mouth is fruity, suave, fresh, precise, nicely ample and offers minerality, a nice acid frame, a certain purity, a nice fat and a small unctuosity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of pear, citrus fruits (lemon, mandarin ...) associated with small notes of passion fruit, quenette as well as slight notes of flint and an imperceptible hint of yuzu zests (in the background). Good length.
