Vigna Del Core - Sicilia

VertdeVin - - Interview -

The nose is fine, fruity, racy, elegant, slightly enchanting and offers a very slight intensity (but all in voluptuousness). It reveals notes of black cherry, blueberry and hints of cassis associated with slight earthy notes/terroir, plum, discreet hints of griotte as well as a discreet hints of chocolate and caramelization/ripe almond. The palate is nicely fruity, well-balanced, nicely racy, slightly tight and offers a slight density, a slight minerality, roundness, a slight suavity as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses slight hints of ripe blueberry, wild black berries and discreet/(very) slight hints of ripe raspberry, earth associated with slight notes of plum, licorice/cardamom, a subtle hint of chocolate as well as a discreet hint of minerality. Tannins are fine, racy and very discretely firms. Beautiful gourmandise on the finish. Good length and good persistence. A beautiful, racy wine!
