The nose is rel­a­tively pow­er­ful and of­fers a very beau­ti­ful fi­nesse as well as no­bil­ity. It re­veals slight notes of candied or­ange zests, cedar and hints of candied lemon zests as­so­ci­ated with a sub­tle hint of aged aok/ bar­rel cel­lar, a slight hint of apri­cot, Timut pep­per, caramel as well as a very dis­creet hint of flow­ers (which brings fresh­ness), peat, a slight woody hint, a very dis­creet/im­per­cep­ti­ble hint of roast­ing and a sub­tle hint of sweet spices. The palate is fruity, well-bal­anced and of­fers deep­ness, round­ness, a beau­ti­ful ten­sion, fresh­ness, gour­man­dise as well as a beau­ti­ful del­i­cacy. In the mouth this Ar­magnac ex­presses fine notes of candied or­ange, dried vine peach, carameliza­tion and a slight/dis­creet hint of candied lemon as­so­ci­ated with touches of to­bacco/cigar, a woody hint as well as slight touches of to­bacco (in the back­ground) and a very dis­creet hint of dry fruits (in the back­ground). Good length and gour­mand per­sis­tence with slight hints of cedar, candied or­ange zests and a dis­creet hint of leather. Nice per­sis­tence.
