-

The nose is aromatic, elegant, gourmand, captivating and offers a fine fleshiness and a fine complexity. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, ripe cassis and fine touches of plum associated with a hint of licorice, a subtle hint of dried strawberry / cherry as well as discreet hints of wood, tobacco and a subtle / discreet hint of pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, silky and offers a fine acid frame (in the background), a nice racy minerality, tension as well as a beautiful elegance and delicacy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/dried strawberry, fleshy/ dried blackberry and plum combined with hints of fleshy / juicy raspberry, touches of black cherry, chocolate as well as subtle hints of licorice, mushroom / undergrowth and subtle toasted hints. Tannins are fine, well-built and chewy. Good length.
