Glenfarclas - Aged 21 Years

Highland, Single Malt - Scotch Whisky

-

The nose is aromatic, fruity, a bit tight and offers power, a nice definition as well as sweetness. It reveals notes of dried white grapes, orange

marmalade and fine toasted touches, butter biscuit combined with a touch of Sichuan / white pepper, sandalwood, white fruit, almond and of caramel. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, quite ample and offers a nice roundness, fat, a fine suavity, a nice delicacy as well as a nice power (but with finesse). In the mouth this Scotch Whisky expresses notes of candied peach, cooked red apple and orange marmalade associated with a discreet touch of spices, grilled oak, cocoa as well as a discreet hint of honey and minerality on the finish. Good length and good persistence.
