Domaine de Nalys – Réserve 2013

VertdeVin - - Wine Reviews -

The nose is aromatic, elegant, relatively gourmand and offers a fine richness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, blueberry, wild berries and a fine hint of fresh Gariguette strawberry associated with slight / discreet hints of flowers, zan, tobacco, undergrowth, wood and an imperceptible hint of black / Sichuan pepper (in the background). The palate is fruity, mineral, fresh, well-balanced, elegant, straight, well-balanced and offers a fine tension, fat, a good definition, gourmandise and fine richness. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of crushed wild blackberries, wild berries and crunchy / fresh strawberries combined with fine touches of liquorice, flowers, chocolate as well as fine / discreet hints of tobacco, discreet touches of sweet spices and an imperceptible hint of caramelization / caramelized brown sugar in the background / on the finish. Tannins are fine and straight. Good length.
