The nose is aromatic, spicy and offers a small concentration and a small elegance. It reveals notes of crushed cassis, black cherry and small notes of blackberry associated with hints of crushed wild raspberry, toasted oak, vanilla, sweet spices as well as very discreet hints of almonds (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers suavity, a (very) slight unctuosity, a good definition, an acid frame, a good structure as well as a fine intensity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, crushed cassis, black cherry and touches of raspberry associated with discreet hints of toasted oak, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of caramelization and fresh almond (in the background).
