Kanye West’s Donda

As we close this issue, Kanye West’s latest album, Donda, is topping the charts and set to become one of the most successful albums of the year. However, it isn’t West’s best work – according to the artist himself. West asserted that the much anticipated album was released without his consent. Singers who collaborated with him on various tracks were also unhappy about the tracklist. Donda has caused further controversies, as singers DaBaby and Marilyn Manson – both currently the subjects of controversy – were invited to its listening party. Manson is currently accused of sexual abuse by several of his former partners, while DaBaby was blacklisted by many festivals this Summer, after making homophobic comments on stage.
