Nazanin Zaghari Radcliff

After six years in detention in Tehran, separated from her family, first in prison and then under house arrest, Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe’s ordeal is finally over. Arrested in Tehran’s airport in 2016 on her way home to London, her release, and that of Anoosheh Ashoori, came after the settlement of a longstanding British debt to Iran that had soured relations between the two countries. In her first public comments since arriving back in Britain, the charity worker said that freedom will never be complete until all detainees are allowed to leave and that she herself should have been released a long time ago.
