Homes for Ukraine scheme

The Homes for Ukraine scheme allows members of the public to host refugees for a minimum of six months in exchange for a monthly £350 payment. More than 122,000 individuals and organisations in the UK registered the day after the website went live, on March 14. Families applying to be sponsors are complaining that the system is overly complicated and lengthy. There is frustration that the scheme isn't dynamic enough for the immediate emergency.
