The for­mer U.S. First La­dy Michelle Oba­ma has laun­ched a non­pro­fit re­gis­tra­tion ini­tia­tive, When We All Vote, to en­cou­rage ci­ti­zens to vote in the up­co­ming midterm elec­tions. At the first ral­ly, which took place in Las Ve­gas on Sep­tem­ber 23, she made a po­wer­ful speech in front of 2,600 at­ten­dees. “Be­lieve me, I am frus­tra­ted too,” she said. “I am sick of all the chaos and mes­si­ness of our po­li­tics. It’s ex­haus­ting, and frank­ly it’s de­pres­sing […] but de­mo­cra­cy conti­nues with or wi­thout you.”
