Robot farm

In October, the United States’ first autonomous robot farm was launched in California. It was created by a company called Iron Ox in order to address the two main issues that the agricultural industry currently faces: a labour shortage and a need to increase production. Autonomous machines are used to plant leafy greens and herbs in individual pots. A robot controlled by AI software then moves around the farm, transporting the pots to the processing area. Another robot is in charge of harvesting the plants.
