When Mas­ter­Chef was re­vi­ved by the BBC in 2005 af­ter a four-year hia­tus, Bri­tain be­came pas­sio­nate about coo­king shows. Net­flix’s new show, The Fi­nal Table, avai­lable in­ter­na­tio­nal­ly, is the new ri­val to the em­ble­ma­tic BBC cu­li­na­ry pro­gramme. In 10 epi­sodes, 24 com­pe­ti­tors from all around the globe face one ano­ther in a se­ries of chal­lenges and are jud­ged by nine in­ter­na­tio­nal elite chefs. Other po­pu­lar coo­king TV shows in the UK in­clude Come Dine with Me, broad­cas­ted since 2005.
