In November 2014, London–based trio The xx updated the world on the recording of their latest album, the follow–up to their 2012 release Coexist. Sessions have taken the group from the desert heat of Marfa, Texas, to the grazing light of Reykjavik, Iceland, before finally landing them in Los Angeles. They even performed a few tracks live at the Guggenheim while in New York. It’s still a closely guarded secret, but the band’s electropop sounds should brighten spring days with a new burst of
