the bad boy of Amer­i­can cin­ema, re­vealed by Larry Clark as the pre­co­cious screen­writer of his mould–break­ing Kids, does ev­ery­thing dif­fer­ently. A drugged–up drifter and a re­cal­ci­trant artist, closer to Go­dard than to Hol­ly­wood, he is cur­rently dream­ing of chang­ing images in palmy Mi­ami. To mark a ma­jor ret­ro­spec­tive of his work in Paris, Vogue Hommes talked to the di­rec­tor of Spring Break­ers, to take stock and look ahead.
