A Shopper’s Paradise Replete with Cultural Offerings
Located in the heart of Paris in the lively and eclectic 13th arrondissement or district, the Italie Deux shopping mall is the second most frequented shopping destination in Paris and the Left Bank’s historic shopping centre. Open seven days a week, it brings together some 130 shops, a theatre and a host of eateries. Inside you will find the Printemps department store, the Fnac, for leisure, entertainment and computer products, Sephora, the beautiful beauty store, the toy store La Grande Récré and quintessential French brands like Lacoste.
And Italie Deux isn’t just a shopping centre for it plays host to cultural offerings as well. Last year the 13ème Art opened its doors, a theatre outfitted with two performance halls, seating 900 and 130 respectively and welcoming a rich programme of diverse shows for young and old alike, as well as a television recording studio. It is the first theatre of this dimension to open in the French capital in 100 years and it is the first cultural centre to be integrated into a shopping mall in France. The 13th arrondissement is a hotbed of street art and within Italie Deux is a fresco by the internationally celebrated graffiti artist Astro.
And throughout the entire month of December, visitors to Italie Deux can discover Les Boutiques Vive La France, an exclusive and ephemeral space bringing together iconic and emerging brands that are guaranteed with the certification Origine France Garantie, meaning their French origin is guaranteed.
