Ducasse Takes to the Seine

Where Paris - - Dining -

He is one of France’s, and the world’s, most admired chefs, and now Alain Ducasse has taken his talents to the waters, or more accurately, to the River Seine. Ducasse sur Seine shows off the chef’s talents while showing off the equally impressive sites of the French capital. Docked just beneath the Eiffel Tower, Ducasse sur Seine invites you to step onto a wonderful culinary experience aboard the first electric river cruise in the city. The restaurant serves French cuisine with a touch of modernity seen in dishes such as the chilled lobster entrée drizzled with a coral vinaigrette or the pan-seared sea bass served with a tangy sauce. Vegetarians are equally spoiled with the chef’s signature Cookpot of seasonal vegetables served on a bed of spelt. The highlight accompanying your dinner is of course Paris’s gorgeous monuments that are beautifully served as the perfect backdrop, with the Notre Dame Cathedral, Musée d’Orsay and Pont Neuf only some of the majestic attractions aligning the River Seine and seen as the boat glides along quietly. Reservations are highly recommended. – S.I.
