Play­ing out at the quaint Théâtre de la Con­trescarpe off the fa­mous Rue Mouf­fe­tard, catch the play adap­ta­tion of Anna Karen­ina, Tol­stoy’s mas­ter­piece. Adapted by Laeti­tia Gon­zalbes, this ver­sion of the fa­mous story ex­plores ho­mo­sex­u­al­ity, with Anna Karen­ina be­tray­ing her hus­band by hav­ing an af­fair with Varinka, a woman. The play is show­ing un­til the end of De­cem­ber and is per­formed in French. - S.I.
