«SWISSBRAND – MADE IN ITALY» : la définition de marque CP est un petit peu obscure mais on comprend bien que les casques sont fabriqués en Italie. Il faut avouer que pour les casques (moto, vélo, ski…), les artisans du « Bel Paese » sont une référence au niveau mondial. On n’est donc pas dans un souci d’épargne ici, mais bien dans une démarche qualitative. Le casque qu’on a essayé est véritablement un petit bijou en termes de matériaux utilisés, tant pour la coque que pour l’intérieur, beau, résistant et chaud. On apprécie particulièrement la présence de la visière. On skie avec les lunettes en cas de soleil, et si le temps change (brouillard, neige) on la baisse. Le prix est certes un peu élevé, mais honnêtement on ne change pas de casque tous les ans donc mieux vaut investir dans la qualité.

One must confess that when it comes to helmets (motorbike, bicycle, ski, etc.) the craftsmen of “Bel Paese” (the beautiful country – Italy) set the standard worldwide. So, it’s not a cost-cutting exercise but a qualitative approach. The helmet we tried out is truly a little gem in terms of the materials used, both for the outer shell and interior – fine-looking, tough and warm.

We particularly appreciate the inclusion of the visor. You can ski with glasses if there’s sun and lower it if the weather changes (fog, snow). The price is certainly a bit steep but to be honest you don’t change your helmet every year so it’s best to invest in something of high-quality.
