16 Art-Bar-Restaurant (Saanen)

What a lovely discovery this restaurant is! It nestles in a former bell foundry, one of the oldest buildings in the ancient village of Saanen, a few kilometres from Gstaad.

The interior design is cosy, combining nicely with the touches of contemporary art from the many paintings hanging on the walls. The gourmet menu, which is based primarily on local produce, tends towards meat. The wine cellar is first-rate too. You can unearth some fine names, including Swiss wine.
