«It’s well worth a visit», as the famous guide would say. It so happens that you have to take a car or taxi over to the old village of Montalbert, twelve kilometres from La Plagne Centre. This restaurant has been open for two years and offers mainly gourmet cuisine. The dishes are sophisticated and the emphasis is upon the excellence of the produce. They offer freshly-made pasta as well as seafood (traceability guaranteed). Here, we leave the realm of conventional Alpine cookery. We should add that the service is delightful; the dining room is plain and simple with everything retaining a rustic feel. In short, it’s a very nice surprise and a real pleasure ! This is because a restaurant attempting to offer finedining in the mountains is always quite a challenge, which deserves our full support when its true value is properly appreciated, as in this case.
