ʻA trip to the heart of Switzerland

We have often recommended to our readers that for their skiing holidays they go somewhere different for a change and explore the resorts in the Bernese Oberland, such as Wengen, Grindelwald and Adelboden. These are true gems which we have talked about in the past. On this occasion, we have selected the Lenk-Simmental resort which we are delighted to present to you today. To be honest, we are not acquainted with it apart from the excellent reputation of its meat and the magnificent ski area which it shares with Adelboden. Lenk is a small, quiet mountain village. One shouldn’t expect to find a wide choice of hotels of the standard of those in Gstaad, nor expect the kind of vibrant nightlife to be found at Verbier, but in any case people don’t come here for those reasons.
