More effects and sounds for Bitwig Modular DAW
Berlin software gurus, Bitwig, are modernizing their DAW, Bitwig
Studio, with their update to Version 4.3. In particular, the effects section has been upgraded. Highlights include the Convolution Reverb effect, which is a Convolution
Reverb and includes 270 impulse responses. Various spaces can be emulated here, be it cathedrals from the 12th century or more abstract spaces. The timbre of the reverb can be changed. The Convolution Reverb, which is also capable of True Stereo, also has an envelope to shape the impulse responses. Another new feature is Delay+, an effect that allows you to set delays in not only beats or seconds, but this tool is also capable of ducking. External VST plug-ins or the in-house pitch shifters and Flanger+ can be inserted into the feedback loop. Furthermore, the Polymer synthesizer has been extended by an oscillator and The Grid has also been expanded by additional modules. Last but not least, the update also includes the sound collection, The Drift, with over 100 presets.
Bitwig Studio 4.3 is available free of charge for registered users with the current upgrade plan. The full version of Bitwig
Studio 16 Track costs 399 Euro.
